We would like to thank Ana Gamboa, reporter for Al Día Newspaper in Pennsylvania for interviewing Raul and really listening to his experiences of being vegetarian turned vegan and why he started VegLatino.
The article highlighted several vegans that are Latino, a book with Latino inspired recipes for vegans, and a restaurant in NYC that caters to vegans and vegetarians. It is always great to see other Latinos who have gone through the same things Raul has with his family about why he no longer eats lechon, cuajito, and other meats they enjoy.
