Product Review for @FrontierSoups

We were shipped some soups and party mixes from @AlexKLevine from a company called Frontier Soups. They came at a perfect time because my partner Raul, (@rj_c) was just getting over a cold.  The soups contain simple ingredients with the seasoning all in one bag. They take the guess work out of making soup. We have yet to try the mixes and dip. You can order them on-line in a variety pack or singles.

These soups are healthy and provide additional ingredient ideas on the back of the paper attachment. There is no salt or msg contained in the ingredients. It is ideal for those staying away from sodium. Both soups we tried call for heavy cream, half&half, or milk. We substituted that with soy milk or the other option would be to leave it out. They are vegan friendly once you omit the dairy products and use soy milk.

In the Red Pepper Corn Chowder, I added both broccoli and cauliflower to the soup.  With the Idaho Outpost Potato Leek, I added additional potato, but I don’t think it was necessary.  The amount of soup you get will last two people for two meals; the packages say it serves five.

Have you tried their soups or dips?

Here is a link to their vegetarian soups. You can find them on Facebook and Twitter.
