Come Volunteer @SASFAPR at the Pet Fair!

One of the organizations we love to promote is the “no kill” shelter in Puerto Rico called @SASFAPR. Home to 300 animals that have been saved from being killed and abandonment, they have been cordially invited to an event in the southern part of the island.

From July 13th to July 17, they will be in Ponce, Puerto Rico’s Plaza del Caribe at a Pet Fair. According to Dellymar, who is the President of this great organization, they need volunteers to help with their booth.

They are scheduled to be at the fair from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 13 and 14th. July 15th through the 17th they will be there from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Volunteers should be able to commit to three hours where you will hand out adoption and donation information while also accepting food donations and passing out information on how to be a responsible pet owner.

Please send an email to Dellymar at if you are visiting the island or living here and would like to contribute your time to a great cause.
